Set an Executive Session
1. Personnel Matters--A.R.S. Section 38-431.03(A)(1) – Annual Performance Review of the Presiding
City Magistrate.
2. A.R.S. Sections 38-431.03(A)(3) and (A)4 – Discussion and consultation with the City Attorney for
legal advice and to consider its position and instruct its City Attorney regarding the City’s
position in pending or contemplated litigation or in settlement discussions conducted in order
to avoid or resolve litigation in the matters of Jane Poston and J2Media vs. City of Chandler,
et.al, and Michael Collins v. City of Chandler et.al.

Councilmember Stewart moved to hold an Executive Session Meeting immediately following the
Special Meeting; seconded by Councilmember Encinas.
Motion carried unanimously (6-0)
