In October 2024, four (4) households made four (4) reports regarding aircraft activity. One (1) report was for aircraft noise and three (3) reports were regarding aircraft traffic. Previous Caller (Daytime) Previous Caller (Nighttime) New Caller (Daytime) New Caller (Nighttime) Meeting Date: November 13, 2024 The first household reported an increase in flight training aircraft traffic that was not following the published flight patterns over the course of a weekend. Flight tracking data for the entire weekend revealed aircraft at or above pattern altitudes. On a few occasions, aircraft that had just departed were still in a climb profile, but still within regulatory limits. Second household reported a very loud and low-flying aircraft had just passed over the residence. Flight tracking data revealed that an American Airlines (Envoy Air) ERJ-170 was on approach to PHX from Bob Hope/Burbank was at an altitude of 9500 feet AGL at the time encountered. Resident requested and was provided the PHX noise complaint contact information. Third household reported an increase of aircraft traffic in the Sun Lakes area over the last year and inquired about how the FAA changed the flight patterns. Flight tracking data revealed that all of the traffic encountered in the proceeding two weeks were aircraft above regulatory altitudes that were straight out departures to the southwest. Fourth household reported an aircraft flying over the neighborhood instead of following the roads and streets. Flight tracking data revealed that the CHD based aircraft was conducting pattern work on the south runway and was above regulatory altitudes when in proximity to the residence.
