The Home Builders Association of Central Arizona (HBACA) is very appreciative of the City’s willingness to work with us throughout the code adoption process. Whenever the HBACA reviews a proposed code update, our primary concern is unnecessary increases in the cost of construction. In those areas where there may potentially be increased costs, we believe that the City’s proposed amendments will mitigate many of those concerns. Therefore, the HBACA supports the amendments as proposed in the adoption package.
