RESOLUTION NO. 5858 
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHANDLER, ARIZONA, 
PERTAINING 
TO 
THE 
SUBMISSION 
OF 
HOMELAND 
SECURITY 
GRANT 
PROGRAM A WARDS BETWEEN THE CITY OF CHANDLER AND THE ARIZONA 
DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY. 
WHEREAS, the Arizona Department of Homeland Security (AZDOHS) wishes to enter into an 
Agreement with the City of Chandler for the award of FY 24-25 Homeland Security Grant Program 
Awards, and 
WHEREAS, the City of Chandler, through its Police Department, wishes to provide homeland 
security response for the citizens of Chandler and other Arizona communities. 
NOW, THERFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Chandler, Arizona 
as follows: 
Section 1. THAT approval is granted for the Chandler Police Department to patticipate in the 
AZDOHS Homeland Security Grant Program. 
Section II. THAT the Mayor is authorized to sign the Agreements and the Chief of Police is 
appointed agent for the City of Chandler, to administer, execute, and submit all 
documents and any other necessary instruments in connection with said program.
