Meeting Minutes Cultural Foundation Board Development Subcommittee Regular Meeting October 22, 2024 | 4:00 p.m. Chandler Museum, Saguaro Room 300 S. Chandler Village Dr., Chandler, AZ Call to Order The meeting was called to order by LaTricia Woods at 4:01 p.m. Roll Call Board Member Attendance Staff Attendance LaTricia Woods, Committee Chair Terri Rettig Jeanne Forbis Candy Yu Sherida McMullan Absent Guests Erika Castro Scheduled and Unscheduled Public Appearances Consent Agenda Motion to approve minutes of the September 24, 2024 meeting carried unanimously (4-0). Action Agenda The committee reviewed the 2025 meeting calendar and discussed moving the January date to January 28, 2025. Moving forward, the committee will meet in person once per quarter and host virtual meetings for the other dates. The amended calendar was approved unanimously (4-0). Briefing 1. Board Applicant List – Susan Baker has expressed her intention to not complete her term, which expires May 2027. There will also be six terms up for renewal in May. Jeanne will reach out to her contact at Intel to encourage any interested employees to apply. Jeanne, LaTricia, and Erika will follow up with the newest applicants and report back at the next meeting. Page of 2 2 2. Board Core Competencies/Board Engagement Survey – The board survey was sent out on October 15. Six responses have been received. Terri will send out a reminder email with the link with the goal of getting 80% participation. Terri will report on the results at the next meeting. Member Comments/Announcements Calendar The next meeting will be on December 3, 2024 at 4:00 pm. This meeting will be held virtually via Microsoft Teams. The committee chair reminded attendees of the holiday party on December 10 at 5:00 pm.
