Meeting Minutes Cultural Foundation Board Development Subcommittee Regular Meeting December 3, 2024 | 4:00 p.m. Virtually Via Microsoft Teams Meeting ID: 281 065 763 741 +1 469-998-7682, 791548292# Call to Order The meeting was called to order by LaTricia Woods at 4:01 p.m. Roll Call Board Member Attendance Staff Attendance LaTricia Woods, Committee Chair Terri Rettig Jeanne Forbis Erika Castro Candy Yu Absent Guests Sherida McMullan Scheduled and Unscheduled Public Appearances Consent Agenda Motion to approve minutes of the October 22, 2024 meeting carried unanimously (4-0). Action Agenda Briefing 1. Board Applicant List – The committee discussed the list of applicants that are under review. Jeanne reported that Erika Thrower has expressed interest in serving on the board but they have not connected for the interview yet. Erika and LaTricia have reached out their applicants but also have not been able to connect yet. Jeanne is reaching out to her contact at Intel to see if they have someone who may be interested in applying. The top four vetted applicants will move forward to formal recommendation at the December 5 meeting. Page of 2 2 2. Board Core Competencies/Board Engagement Survey – The board profile survey received 100% response. Terri Rettig reviewed the results of the survey with the committee. Board Development will present the survey at the regular board meeting in January. Member Comments/Announcements LaTricia reminded the committee that the Boards and Commissions holiday party will be on December 10 at 5:00 pm. Matt and Mike Halle are the hosts. Calendar The next meeting will be on January 28, 2024 at 4:00 pm. This meeting will be held in person at the Chandler Museum.
