Meeting of October 14, 2024
• Martin Sepulveda made a motion to approve the meeting minutes of the Museum
Foundation Governance Subcommittee Meeting of October 14, 2024.
• Rich Feely seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously (3-0). The minutes were
approved as written.

2. Move for Approval of Governance Subcommittee Biannual Report 2024 Part Two—Financial
• Martin Sepulveda made a motion to recommend the approval of Governance
Subcommittee Biannual Report 2024 Part Two--Financial.

• Rich Feely seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously (3-0).
• Rich Feely let subcommittee in discussion of report contents.
i. Members discussed SWOT analysis from report
ii. Members discussed City of Chandler bond funding initiatives
iii. Members discussed potential funding initiatives as discussed in Executive
Subcommittee on November 25, 2024
iv. Members discussed what the community is interested in, in regards to
museum expansion in Chandler and how to proceed in cultivating support for
future expansions
v. Members discussed potential change to bylaws regarding Foundation audit
frequency
• Changes to the Bylaws included:
i. Slides 1 & 2: change “fiduciary” to “financial”
ii. Slide 6: Change “20K” to “10K”

3. Discuss Biannual Report 2024 Part Three--Generative (Marketing & Awareness)
• Martin Sepulveda will compile report
4. Completion of Full Report and Communication to Full Board
