Meeting Minutes Chandler Museum Foundation Regular Meeting January 22, 2025| 5:30 p.m. Chandler Museum, Saguaro Room 300 S. Consent Agenda 1. Approval of Minutes from November 18, 2024 Chandler Museum Foundation Board Meeting • Joan Clark made a motion to approve minutes from the November 18, 2024 Chandler Museum Foundation Board Meeting • Martin Sepulveda seconded the motion. Page 2 of 3 • Motion carried unanimously (10-0). The minutes with suggested changes were approved. Action Agenda 2. Approval of Museum Foundation 2024-25 Revised Budget • Martin Spulveda made a motion to approve the Museum Foundation 2024-25 Revised Budget • Joan Clark seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously (10-0). • Jody Crago presented revised budget and changes that were made by the Finance Subcommittee and presented to the Executive Subcommittee. 3. Approval of Revised Bylaws of the Chandler Museum Foundation • Joan Clark made a motion to approve the Revised Bylaws of the Chandler Museum Foundation • Rich Feely seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously (10-0). • Jody Crago presented revised bylaws and reasons for changes. Discussion None. Briefing 4. Presentation of The Ranch at Tumbleweed Park 30% Designs • Phil Weddel, from Weddel Gilmore Architects, presented schematics for The Ranch at Tumbleweed Park 30% Designs 5. New Board Member Introduction • Barbara Meyerson introduced the new board members Mary Cimaglio and Gregory Herriman and each gave a short bio about themselves. • Existing board members introduced themselves and gave a short bio. 6. Foundation Fundraising Options for 2025 • Jody Crago and Peter Bugg presented what the museum has done and possible uses for fundraised money at the museum in 2025. • Board members discussed current funding available and funding needs. 7. Live Binder Presentation • Jody Crago presented the functions and contents of Live Binder. 8. Status of Bond Election • Kim Moyers provided an update on the progress of the museum’s bond funding request and the bond election process as a whole. Member Comments Page 3 of 3 • Jody Crago provided an update on Strategic Plan RFP and committee formation process. • Jody Crago invited board members to Celebration Plaza induction ceremony and Chandler Sports Hall of Fame induction ceremony, both on February 22. • Jody Crago updated board on closing and upcoming exhibitions at the museum. Member Announcements None. Calendar 9. Next Museum Foundation Executive Subcommittee Meeting will be February 3, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at the Chandler Museum. Next Museum Foundation Board Meeting will be February 18, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. at the Chandler Museum.
