Motion to participate in the International Mother Language Day celebration 2025 on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Tumbleweed Park in Chandler Motion: Vice Chair Curtis Seconded: Commissioner Tan Lim Unanimous approval, 8-0 Discussion 4. 2024 Domestic Violence Commission Recap and 2025 activities – Chair Codkind presented the Annual Report. Discussion of draft Executive Summary of accomplishments and 2025 activities. Discussion of budget, expenses and funds available for the Domestic Violence Commission. Add as Action Item for February agenda. 5. Domestic Violence Awareness Event 2025 - Sept. 23, 2025 at Avion Center in Chandler Topic– Technology use, abuse and empowerment to safe guard, technology experts, share trainings available. Suggested titles for the event. Suggestions for event included: survivor speaker, ACESDV or professional speaker, legislative update, and MAG DV 6. Domestic Violence Community Outreach Subcommittee – discussed school outreach and Mental Health Resource Fair collaboration.
