Professional Experience
For over 20 years, I have been dedicated to promoting higher education access for individuals from
all backgrounds, ensuring opportunities are available to anyone who can benefit. My work has
consistently involved building and leveraging strategic networks at the city, state, and federal levels
to secure resources, partnerships, and support for educational initiatives. Throughout my career, I
have successfully collaborated with government agencies, nonprofit organizations, and business
leaders to expand educational opportunities and drive workforce development. These efforts have
not only transformed lives but have also contributed to economic growth by cultivating a skilled
and educated workforce. My experience in policy advocacy, program development, and
stakeholder engagement positions me well to contribute to initiatives that advance Chandler's
economic development.
Board/Committee Experience
I have served on several boards and committees throughout my professional and personal career. I
have had the pleasure of working with various universities to help them plan for the future. Which
includes working on their budgets, technology abilities, and program development. Other board
work has included research on the future of education and what we can do as a university to
ensure the future generations receive high quality and relevant degree programs.
Briefly explain why you would like to serve on the board / commission
I am passionate about contributing to the City of Chandler's continued growth and prosperity.
Serving on the Economic Development Board would allow me to leverage my experience in
education, workforce development, and collaboration with city, state, and federal partners to
support initiatives that attract businesses, foster innovation, and create opportunities for our
community. I believe my background in building strategic partnerships and advocating for
accessible pathways to success aligns with the board's mission to strengthen Chandler's economic
vitality. It would be an honor to contribute to shaping the city's future.
