Dear Michael, 
On behalf of Catalina Components Incorporated (CCI), I am writing to formally notify the City of Chandler that 
CCI intends to apply for FTZ Zone Status. The site is located at 4015 W. Milky Way and includes the adjoining lot 
at 320 S. McClintock Drive.  The Milky Way property is the original building encompassing approximately 12,500 
square feet.  In 2019 we expanded operations with the purchase of the land and construction of the building on 
the adjacent lot at 320 S. McClintock Road which is an additional 16,000 square feet. 
The purpose of these facilities is to provide third party distribution and warehousing along with die cutting 
services to our customers in the Automotive Sector.   We import precision fasteners and rubber products and 
raw material for products primarily distributed to the safety restraints industry. 
We are the exclusive operator of the facility for the stated services. The site currently employees 16 people. The 
current tariff turbulence has put a strain on our company.  We have since realized that the incoming tariffs we 
are encountering are not on products that will be used in the United States and therefore we could qualify for 
exemption as a Free Trade Zone.  We have been in business for over 32 years and operating out of Chandler 
since 2003 when we constructed our first building.  We plan to continue our growth in Chandler and the FTZ 
Zone approval will help solidify our financial stability now and in the future. 
Catalina Components Incorporated understands that the City of Chandler must file a resolution in support of 
Catalina Components to the Grantee of FTZ No. 75, City of Phoenix. 
Catalina Components Incorporated is waiving any tax abatement opportunities of our facility in the City of 
Phoenix Foreign Trade Zone No. 75. We understand that the existing parcels are already contributing to the tax 
revenue, and this will not be removed from the revenue stream. Catalina Components Incorporated confirms 
that it will not pursue or claim the Tax abatement opportunities available for new buildings and equipment as 
Class 6.  
We will be working with Ernst & Young to assist our Activation with US Customs and Border Protection. Please
