AMENDMENT TO

I.
The above-named contract is hereby amended as specified below:
A. Pursuant to Section 1.2 of the Contract, the Contract is renewed from for an additional one-year term,
beginning October 1, 2023, and ending September 30, 2024.
B. Exhibit A, Pricing Sheet, shall be updated to include a new budget worksheet for October 1, 2023 through
September 30, 2024, for $100,000, bringing the total not to exceed amount of the contract to $400,000.
The updated budget worksheet begins on Page 3 of this amendment.
C. Exhibit B, Scope of Work, is being replaced with the updated Scope of Work for budget period October 1,
2023 through September 30, 2024 and it begins on Page 4 of this amendment.
D. Terms and Conditions shall be updated to include the following additional clauses:

WRITTEN CERTIFICATION PURSUANT to A.R.S. § 35-393.01:
If Contractor engages in for-profit activity and has 10 or more employees, and if this
agreement has a value of $100,000 or more, Contractor certifies it is not currently engaged
in, and agrees for the duration of this agreement to not engage in, a boycott of goods or
services from Israel. This certification does not apply to a boycott prohibited by 50 U.S.C.
§ 4842 or a regulation issued pursuant to 50 U.S.C. § 4842.

WRITTEN CERTIFICATION PURSUANT to A.R.S. § 35-394:
Contractor warrants and certifies that it does not currently, and agrees for the duration of
the Agreement, that it will not use:
1. the forced labor of ethnic Uyghurs in the People's Republic of China,
2. any goods or services produced by the forced labor of ethnic Uyghurs in the People's
Republic of China,
3. any contractors, subcontractors or suppliers that use the forced labor or any goods or
services produced by the forced labor of ethnic Uyghurs in the People's Republic of
China. If Contractor becomes aware during the term of this Agreement that the
Contractor is not in compliance with this paragraph, Contractor shall notify the County
within five business days after becoming aware of the noncompliance. If the Contractor
fails to provide a written certification to the County that the Contractor has remedied
the noncompliance within 180 days after notifying the County of its noncompliance,
then the agreement terminates, except that if the agreement termination date occurs
before the end of the 180-day period, the agreement terminates on the agreement
termination date.
II.
All other terms and conditions of the original contract shall remain in full force and effect.

Childhood Focus Area
Strategy: Childhood SCH - Support the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies that support well-being in schools and other
youth-based systems.
Project Goal: Support successful School/Youth-Based Agriculture by training schools to sustain their garden programs by achieving the
criteria defined in the Garden Resources, Education, and Environment Nexus (Burt, Koch, & Contento, 2017).
Year 4 - Objective 1: By September 30, 2024, at least one school with existing garden programs in the Washington Elementary School District
will achieve a minimum of two of the four established criteria for sustaining garden programs: professional development for staff and volunteers,
