Resolution No 5901 JAG 2025

RESOLUTION NO.  5901 
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHANDLER, 
ARIZONA AUTHORIZING AND APPROVING THE AWARD OF THE 
EDWARD BYRNE JUSTICE ASSISTANCE GRANT (JAG) IN THE AMOUNT 
OF $39,518  
WHEREAS, the Office of Justice is awarding grant funds for the Edward Byrne Justice Assistance 
Grant to assist efforts to support Law Enforcement, and 
WHEREAS, the City of Chandler, through its Police Department, wishes to accept the award from 
the Office of Justice; 
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Chandler, Arizona, 
as follows: 
Section I. THAT approval is granted for the Chandler Police Department to accept the award 
under the Edward Byrne Justice Assistance Grant from the Office of Justice. 
Section II. THAT the Chief of Police is authorized to sign the Grant and any Amendments and is 
appointed agent for the City of Chandler to administer, execute and submit all 
documents and any other necessary instruments in connection with said program.
