RESOLUTION NO. 5911 
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHANDLER, 
ARIZONA APPROVING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN SALT RIVER 
PROJECT AND THE CITY OF CHANDLER FOR A LANDSCAPE WATER 
EFFICIENCY ASSESSMENT PROGRAM. 
WHEREAS, the City of Chandler’s water conservation goals include a comprehensive strategy to 
ensure all city parks are irrigated efficiently, leaks are identified quickly and water efficiency 
technology (e.g. flow sensors) is available to support these water conservation goals; and 
WHEREAS, Salt River Project Agricultural Improvement and Power District (“SRP”) desires to 
coordinate with Chandler on a municipal parks water efficiency assessment program to evaluate 
irrigation systems, conducting up to seventy-five (75) assessments over the next five years and 
identifying any necessary repairs; and  
WHEREAS, SRP desires to support Chandler’s water conservation goals to implement the city’s 
drought management plan, as well as support the SRP 2035 sustainability goals through 
partnerships; and  
WHEREAS, it is in Chandler’s best interest to enter into an Agreement between Salt River Project 
and City of Chandler for a Landscape Water Efficiency Assessment Program (the “Agreement”). 
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Chandler, Arizona, 
as follows: 
Section 1. 
Approves the Agreement in substantially the form attached hereto as Exhibit “A.” 
Section 2. 
Authorizes the Mayor of the City of Chandler, or designee, to execute the 
Agreement on behalf of the City of Chandler and take all action necessary or 
appropriate to carry out the purposes of this Resolution.
