Discussion
4.  Domestic Violence Annual Awareness Event on September 23,2025 “From Connection to
Control:” The Misuse of Technology as a Tactic of Domestic Violence.
Update given on progress and final details of the event.  Currently, we have 126 attendees.
5. Domestic Violence Awareness Proclamation- City Council Meeting September 18, 2025 @
6pm.  Members of the Commission will be in attendance for this meeting.
6.  Strategic Planning Retreat – October 8, 2025 Desert Botanical Garden
Discussion on goals and objectives for the next 5 years
Member Comments/Announcements  
Sahara Program Event will be September 20th. DV Commissioners are invited to attend.
Thrive Gala Event November 8th 2025 6-10pm
