RESOLUTION NO. 5943 
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHANDLER, 
ARIZONA, 
AUTHORIZING 
AND 
APPROVING 
THE 
DATA 
ACCESS/EXCHANGE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF CHANDLER 
AND THE ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR THE 
EXCHANGE OF ELECTRONIC CRASH DATA. 
WHEREAS, the City of Chandler and the Arizona Department of Transportation previously 
entered into a five (5) year Data Access/Exchange Agreement Joint Letter of Renewal/Amendment 
One, and wish to extend the agreement for an additional five (5) years for the exchange of 
electronic crash data; and 
WHEREAS, it is to the mutual benefit of the parties to extend the agreement to enhance 
efficiencies and improve accuracy of the data exchanged and meet the mandated State reporting 
requirements.  
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Chandler, Arizona, as 
follows: 
Section 1. 
Approving the Data Access/Exchange Agreement for the exchange of electronic 
crash data between the City of Chandler and the Arizona Department of 
Transportation for an additional five (5) year term.  
Section 2. 
Authorizing the Mayor to execute the Data Access/Exchange Agreement on behalf 
of the City of Chandler and authorizing city staff to perform all acts necessary to 
give effect to this resolution and comply with the terms of the agreement.  
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Chandler, Arizona, this ___ day of 
November, 2025.
