RESOLUTION NO. 5951 
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHANDLER, 
ARIZONA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXTEND AND 
AMEND THREE WATER CONSERVATION REBATE PROGRAMS; AND 
FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO AMEND A GRANT 
AGREEMENT 
WITH 
THE 
WATER 
INFRASTRUCTURE 
FINANCE 
AUTHORITY.    
WHEREAS, the City of Chandler previously established water conservation rebate programs that 
offer a financial incentive for City of Chandler water utility customers to implement water 
conservation measures; and 
WHEREAS, the City of Chandler seeks to extend and amend the water conservation rebate 
programs based on program effectiveness and on-going funding availability; and  
WHEREAS, the City of Chandler desires to reduce the grant award from the Water Infrastructure 
Finance Authority (“WIFA”) related to the Water Efficient Technology Rebate. 
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Chandler, Arizona, 
as follows: 
Section 1. 
Approves the extension and amendment of three water conservation rebate 
programs: (1) Single Family Residential Grass Removal Rebate Program; (2) Large 
Landscape Grass Removal Rebate Program; and (3) Water Efficient Technology 
Rebate Program. The revisions to these three water conservation rebate programs 
replace the previous versions of these programs that were approved by Resolution 
No. 5723.  
Section 2. 
Authorizes the City Manager to amend or modify its agreement with WIFA to 
reduce Water Efficient Technology Rebate grant funds to an amount of up to 
$600,000.
