Meeting Minutes Chandler Museum Foundation Executive Subcommittee Regular Meeting November 19, 2025 | 2:00 p.m. Chandler Museum, Saguaro Room 300 S. Chandler Village Drive, Chandler, AZ Call to Order The meeting was called to order by Barbara Meyerson at 2:07 p.m. Roll Call Board Member Attendance Staff Attendance Rich Feely, Vice-Chair Jody Crago, Museum Manager Greg Herriman, Treasurer Peter Bugg, Museum Operations Manager Becca Vega, Marketing & Volunteer Coordinator Absent Barbara Meyerson, Chair Unscheduled Public Appearances None. Consent Agenda 1. Approve Minutes from October 22, 2025, Museum Foundation Executive Subcommittee. • Board Member Greg Herriman made a motion to approve Minutes from October 22, 2025. • Board Member Rich Feely seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously 2-0). The minutes were approved with corrections: o Change dates on item 1 to September 24 Page 2 of 3 Action Agenda 2. Increase Vision Gallery Store Budget from $2,000 to $5,000. • Mr. Herriman made a motion to increase Vision Gallery Store budget from $2,000 to $5,000. • Mr. Feely seconded the motion. • Peter Bugg, Museum Operations Manager, explained that the increase was proposed because data from previous years showed an average of $5,000 in spending on merchandise o The expected return on investment is roughly 2 times the amount invested • Motion carried unanimously (2-0). The motion was approved as presented. Briefing 3. Opening Event for Eddie Basha Exhibition • Jody Crago, Museum Manager, shared updates and the proposed event layout • No budget has been confirmed as of the meeting date 4. Update on Keen Independent Strategic Planning • Mr. Crago shared that the strategic plan steering committee reviewed public feedback the week before this meeting • Keen staff have conducted a SWOT analysis • The steering committee has an all-day meeting planned November 21 • Chandler Museum staff have an all-day meeting planned December 19 5. Agenda Items for December 2, 2025 Chandler Museum Foundation Board Meeting. • Mr. Crago shared that Barbara Meyerson, Chandler Museum Foundation Chair, had proposed cancelling the December 2, 2025 Chandler Museum Foundation Board meeting. • Mr. Feely and Mr. Herriman agreed • Becca Vega, Museum Marketing and Volunteer Coordinator will confirm if Board Member Jacki Ryan has any needs in planning the Eddie Basha exhibition opening event that the Board needs to discuss 6. Museum Manager's Report. • Events: o The November 1 Book of Names event at the Chandler Museum went well, with over 250 attendees. o The opening of Dean Terasaki’s exhibition, Echoes Unearthed, went well o The OA+D symposium on November 15 was very successful 1. The Chandler Museum received multiple complements on the building and the Sonoran Shapes + Structures exhibition 2. Projected rain did not interfere with the event • The Chandler Museum has hosted multiple rentals in October and November Page 3 of 3 • Mr. Crago and other Museum staff had a successful meeting with the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation o The Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation invited museum staff to visit their headquarters after the new year and is interested in collaborating with the Museum • Four upcoming Vision Kids programs will display SRP’s logo to recognize the organization’s donation • The Chandler Museum will be closed on Thanksgiving (November 27) and Black Friday (November 28) • The Chandler Museum Store will participate in Museum Store on Sunday November 30th, offering a 10% discount to all shoppers Member Comments None.
