Read across America Week at the elementary schools to put on the action calendar for next    
meeting.  
 
6. Domestic Violence Awareness Event 2026 
    Discussion on dates for the event looking into September 22nd or 29th  
    Discussion on themes for the event  
    Possible speakers for event  
    Discussion regarding food for the event – same vendor 
 
7. October 2025 Domestic Violence Commission Retreat 
    Talking about a strategic plan for 3-5 years   
    Adding elementary school children to the discussions  
    Making a list for Vice Mayor Ellis to present ideas that have been discussed during the retreat
