Commissioner Aashi Singhai moved to approve the December 9, 2025 Mayor’s
Youth Commission meeting minutes. Seconded by Commissioner Abhiram
Kumar
Motion carried unanimously (17-0-2).

Debrief: The Polar Express and Night Before Christmas Holiday Party
Volunteer
Opportunity
The Christmas-timed events of Polar Express and Night Before Christmas
Party were recapped and explained. No commissioner volunteered to explain
their experience at the events.
3. Volunteer Opportunity: State of the City – Thursday, February 12 5-8pm
Alexis gave a brief summary of this event. The annual State of the City event
is about celebrating the city of Chandler with fun treats like different food
samplings, the unveiling of Mayor’s new movies, and even a youth scavenger
hunt.

TLA Planning
The rest of the meeting was used to plan for the 2026 Teen Leadership
Academy event.
Member Comments/Announcements
Commissioner Siddarth updated the commission on his new system for volunteer credits
required for each commissioner. Pamphlets were passed, and a vote will be conducted to
motion whether the new system will be implemented.
