Efforts were centered around the Youth Career Event and multiple presentations delivered to students and community stakeholders, highlighted by a keynote presentation at For Our City - Chandler Networking Breakfast and additional sessions with the Lead Chandler cohort and Chandler High School CTE classes. The Youth Career Event, held on 2/25 at the Downtown Chandler Public Library, brought together 14 Chandler employers, 113 local job seekers ages 17-24, and 5 local educational institutions, leading to numerous connections and multiple direct hires as a result of the event. 7 new Chandler-based employers joined the platform this quarter, notably including Prama.ai, Prism Professional Services Group, and AZ Financial Credit Union. In addition, 122 new native job seekers registered on the Chandler Career Center, and approximately 211 Chandler-based positions were manually posted on behalf of employers as a value-added workforce service. Looking ahead to the final quarter of FY25- 26, workforce development efforts will continue to emphasize entry-level and early-career opportunities for Chandler youth, including part-time roles, internships, apprenticeships, and entry-level full-time positions, while continuing to grow and diversify employer participation and increase job seeker engagement on the platform through targeted community outreach.
