ORDINANCE NO. 5157 
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHANDLER, 
ARIZONA, APPROVING A LEASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF 
CHANDLER AND THE HAVEN ON HAMILTON, LLC AN ARIZONA 
LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY, RELATING TO THE LEASING AND 
DEVELOPMENT OF REAL PROPERTY LOCATED AT 77 S. HAMILTON; 
AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF THE LEASE AGREEMENT AND ALL 
RELATED DOCUMENTS. 
WHEREAS, the City of Chandler owns a parcel of land located at 77 S. Hamilton (the “Leased 
Premises”) that is the subject of a Development Agreement with Brinshore Development, L.L.C., 
an Illinois limited liability company for the development of an affordable housing project known 
as The Haven on Hamilton (the “Project”); and 
WHEREAS, as part of the development, the Project owner, The Haven on Hamilton, LLC, must 
enter into a ground lease with the City; and 
WHEREAS, the City of Chandler desires to lease the Leased Premises to The Haven on Hamilton, 
LLC and The Haven on Hamilton, LLC desires to lease the Leased Premises from the City of 
Chandler for a period of not more than 99 years. 
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Chandler, Arizona, 
as follows: 
Section 1. The City Council of the City of Chandler, Arizona does hereby authorize and 
approve the lease of the Leased Premises to The Haven on Hamilton, LLC for a period of 
not more than 99 years in a form satisfactory to the Project financing partners and approved 
by the Chandler City Attorney. 
Section 2. The Mayor of the City of Chandler, Arizona, or City Manager or City Manager’s 
designees as authorized in Resolution 5604, are hereby authorized to execute the lease and 
the City Manager or a designee is authorized to execute related documents, all upon 
approval as to form by the Chandler City Attorney.
