PP IWDD maintains the common flood irrigation infrastructure with the exception of valve covers/assembly and 
standbox gates/sliders serving the property and is not responsible for any damage to any flood irrigation 
infrastructure as the result of damage by the property owner, short/long term residents, renters, lessees, hired 
help, contractors or vegetation.  Property owners are not authorized to repair or hire a worker/contractor to 
perform repairs on the main canal system including attaching a private line to the main line.  Property owners 
will be responsible for the cost of any unauthorized repairs and/or the cost to re-inspect repairs and corrective

This notice from POMELO PARK IRRIGATION WATER DELIVERY DISTRICT, No. 59 serves 
as a formal request to cancel the election of Trustees that is to be held on November 15, 2023.  
No nominating papers were submitted by the deadline of  July 18, 2023.  The District seeks 
approval from the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors In accordance with A.R.S. §16-410(A), 
to have the election cancelled and appoint Shane Abowitt, Robert Calvert, and John Schultz who 
are duly qualified for the office of Trustee to which they currently have been serving. The term 
they will serve as Trustees will be from January1, 2023 to December 31, 2024.
