1. Nominate Chair of Domestic Violence Commission. 
    Vote for the Chair of the Domestic Violence Commission. 
 Motion for Commissioner Roeder to be Chair: Commissioner Grieve
 Second: Commissioner Perez 
       7-0 Unanimous approval  
 
 Chair will be Commissioner Lizette Roeder 
2. Nominate Vice Chair of Domestic Violence Commission.
    Vote for the Vice Chair of the Domestic Violence Commission.
       
 Motion for Commissioner Perez to be Vice Chair: Chair Codkind
 Second: Commissioner Brizel

 3. Approval of Domestic Violence Commission Regular Meeting Minutes. 
     Motion to approve minutes from the Domestic Violence Commission Regular Meeting on 
     April 8, 2026.
   Motion: Commissioner Brizel
   Second: Commissioner Grieve 
7-0 Unanimous approval
Discussion 
4. Recap of the DV Commission’s hosted Mother’s Day Brunch at My Sister’s Place on 
Saturday May 9, 2026. 
 
5. Discussion about the Chandler Exchange Club’s Dedication of the Field of Hope on Sunday 
April 12, 2026.  QR Codes suggested for upcoming events/Media attention/Add to strategic 
plan for July. 
    
6. Discussion about the Domestic Violence Awareness Event – September 29,2026
      Lizette Roeder will be the Survivor speaker for the event
      Chelsea Grieve will be MC of the event.
7. Community Outreach Subcommittee update. 
Discussion about activity with Boys & Girls Club and request for the week of June 15-20. 
8. The DVC Regular June meeting will be 2 hours to allow for discussion about the Five-Year 
Strategic Plan, Subcommittee will not be meeting in June.

9am in the City Council Chambers Conference Room.
