Project Description (Scope):
Reclaimed Water Conveyance Improvements Project
The scope of work to be performed under the Reclaimed Water Conveyance Improvements project, 
Well Equipping for new ASR Wells 11 and 12, includes the following but are not limited to:
1.
Equipping two (2) new aquifer storage and recovery (ASR) wells.
2.
A below grade vault for ASR Well No.12 with an exhaust air system.
3.
Both below grade and above grade well site and vault will include lighting, nitrogen gas storage,
air compressor system, piping, and valves.
4.
Each well will include a recharge flow rate control valve with a vertical turbine pump and motor
setup. The pump design capacity is 3,000 gallons per minute (gpm) for each pump.
5.
One new 16-inch reclaimed water line and one new 16-inch purge water line from each ASR well
connecting to the existing 24-inch reclaimed water line and existing 16-inch purge line,
respectively.
6.
Piping modifications to the existing sand separator facility.
7.
Secondary electrical instrumentation wiring, expanding the fiber optic communication network,
and adding to the proposed MCCs.
8.
Site Fill and Grading.
9.
Dismantling of one abandoned agricultural recharge well within the Tumbleweed Park Recharge
Site.
10. Provide on-site, hands-on operator training.
11. All other miscellaneous work as specified in the Contract Documents.
