This act is necessary due to my announcement for Maricopa County Supervisor, District 3. I cannot thank you enough for your appointment of me to the Commission. It was my first step back into public service following the 2020 election, and I was so privileged to work with Commission members and excellent County staff on behalf of District 3. My fellow Commissioners and County staff have a collegial, problem-solving approach to planning and zoning requests. They respect private property rights, preserve quality of life and ensure the County’s exceptional growth is well managed. The residents and businesses of Maricopa County benefit from their knowledge and expertise. Thank you for the honor of being a part of these efforts. I would appreciate your relaying these thoughts to the Commission as you deem appropriate.
