RE: Intent to Negotiate new MOU

Dear Ed,

In accordance with Article 6, Section 6-5 of Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)
between the City of Phoenix and Laborers’ International of Union of North America Local
777, this letter with notify you of the union’s request a new MOU from 2020-2022.

As detailed in the Meet and Confer Ordinance, we are requesting monetary increases in
wages and benefits, changes to the investigative and disciplinary processes and additional
changes to training and contracting out of City services. A copy of this letter shall be
submitted to the City Clerk.
