The SWET (Success With Effort and Training) program gives
 applicants the opportunity to exercise with our Recruitin
g Unit and other physical fitness instructors in preparation f
or the Arizona POST-mandated Police Officer Physical Aptit
ude Test (POPAT). Sessions are offered twice per week and
 are free of charge to anyone in the application process.

PHXPD UNIVERSITY PARTNERSHIPS
BUILDING BANNERS FOR 620 W. WASHINGTON STREET
The Employment Services Bureau is collaborating with several universities for the 2024-
2025 academic year, including Grand Canyon University and Arizona Christian University.
The partnership with Arizona Christian University is new for
 PHXPD, which began on September 1st. This collaboration wil
l enable recruiters to attend various sporting events, PHX
PD signage at football games and inside their events cent
er, engagement with college classes, and the ability to attend 
numerous campus events throughout the academic year.
With Council’s approval a 3-year sponsorship agreement with
 Grand Canyon University has begun. This partnership include
s recruitment initiatives at various men's and women's athlet
ic events at GCU, as well as activation events and advertising 
through television and digital streaming.
