To Whom It May Concern,

After reviewing the letter I received from the City of Phoenix in regards to
file #: Z-68-24-8 for the .76 acres located west of northwest corner of 16"
and Washington Street where they are planning to open up a small event
center with outdoor assembly, I would like to voice my some of my concerns.

T have spoken with both Ms. Sarah Sawyer and Mr. Samuel Rogers gaining a
better and more in-dept incite as to the type of activities that are being
planned for at this venue.

After speaking with them I still have a couple of concerns.

My first concern is the time limit as to how long the events can take place.
I was told that it can go no further than 11 pm. To me this is a little too long
since it will affect our neighborhood with loud music. I was also told that the
owner of the event has to be in compliance with the City of Phoenix noise
abatement ordinances but still going into 11pm will still have an impact on = -
our neighborhood. People do sleep during that time frame. This could have
and issue with people trying to sleep especially young children. Did you
every hear music from the distance? All you can hear is the loud annoying
thumping of the bass. It can be very disturbing. I believe that many people
living in the neighborhood would end up calling the police to have them
lower the volume.

I would suggest that any event does not exceed 10 pm on any-given-day.

My other concern is the parking. I was told that there will be mandatory
valet parking, however, when there is an overflow of vehicles many of those
vehicles will be looking for other areas to park. Since our neighborhood is
close to this venue, many vehicles will end up parking in our neighborhood.
We don't want an influx of a lot of vehicles. This can lead to disturbing the

grass and rocks that are located on the islands next to the road. So when they
park by the curb they will be getting out onto these islands where the grass
and rocks are located. People pay good money to maintain those grass
islands. They don't want people trampling the grass nor do we want the rocks
in these island disturbed and ending up all over the ground.

Not to mention that debris can also be deposited on our streets as well as the
noise such as loud talking as they make their way to their vehicles as well as
car doors slamming upon entering into their vehicles.

Also in our neighborhood we put out our trash containers the day before trash
pick-up. With people parking in our areas they can easily manipulate the
locations of these containers moving them away from where we locate them.
This can possibly lead to the containers not being picked up if they are not
properly located.

All of these things that I mentioned might sound petty and crass but not to the
people living in our neighborhood.

Put yourself in a similar situation in your neighborhood with you and your
families, how would you behave and act?

I would like my concerns added to the record involving this particular
planning and development of said venue as mentioned above.

I would appreciate it if there can be a resolution pertaining to my two
concerns.
