a. Interview, discuss and consider the employment, assignment, appointment, and
compensation and benefits of a City Auditor from the following candidates: Irella Blackwood,
Spencer Bright, Suresh George, and Kip Memmott.
b. Discuss and consider its position and instruct its attorneys regarding the public body’s position
on contracts that are the subject of employment negotiations.

assignment, appointment, and compensation and benefits of a City Auditor.
If authorized by a majority vote of the Scottsdale City Council, the Executive Session will be held
immediately after the vote and will not be open to the public. A.R.S. §38-431.03(A)(1), (3), and (4).
– Councilwoman McAllen made a motion to recess into Executive Session to:
a. Interview, discuss and consider the employment, assignment, appointment, and
compensation and benefits of a City Auditor from the following candidates: Irella
Blackwood, Spencer Bright, Suresh George, and Kip Memmott.
b. Discuss and consider its position and instruct its attorneys regarding the public body’s
position on contracts that are the subject of employment negotiations.
c. Discuss and consult with the City’s attorney(s) for legal advice regarding the
employment, assignment, appointment, and compensation and benefits of a City
Auditor.
Vice Mayor Kwasman seconded the motion, which carried 7/0, with Mayor Borowsky; Vice Mayor
Kwasman; and Councilmembers Dubauskas, Graham, Littlefield, McAllen, and Whitehead voting in
the affirmative.
Adjourn to Executive Session in the Kiva Conference Room – 12:07 P.M.
