1. APPOINTMENT, JUSTICE OF THE PEACE FOR DOWNTOWN JUSTICE COURT Justice of the Peace, Carlos A. Mendoza, of the Downtown Justice Court, has submitted a letter of resignation effective August 31, 2008. The Honorable Ruth V. McGregor has accepted the letter of resignation. Therefore, pursuant to ARS 11-251(16) the Board of Supervisors will receive nomination(s) and appoint a Justice of the Peace to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Carlos A. Mendoza. Such appointment will be effective September 1, 2008.
