1. TOLLING AGREEMENT WITH MARY J. BRINK AND AZ STATE RETIREMENT SYSTEM Approve a tolling agreement with Mary J. Brink and Arizona State Retirement System (“ASRS”) for a term beginning no earlier than July 1, 2018 through no later than November 1, 2018, unless extended by mutual agreement of the parties. This matter was discussed in the June 25, 2018 e-session. Approval of this tolling agreement stays any potential statutory time limits for filing claims for the duration of the agreement to facilitate efforts to resolve a dispute between Maricopa County, Mary J. Brink and Arizona State Retirement System concerning a change in interpretation of ASRS “compensation” in connection with the Maricopa County Loan Repayment Assistance Program (“LRAP”).
