16. COMMUNITY SOLUTIONS FUNDING Authorize the Community Solutions Funding request for Stand Up Expo 2023 in the amount of $2,400, with an expected start and end date of May 6, 2023. The Maricopa County Mental Health Task Force has partnered with Valleywise Behavior Health and other stakeholders to offer the “Stand Up Expo 2023". The purpose of this event is to educate, inspire, and empower in the areas of behavioral health advocacy, services, wellness, the justice system and more. This event brings the community and service providers together to gain awareness and increase connections to behavioral health resources. The Board of Supervisors’ Community Solutions Funding (CSF) is primarily intended to cover the cost of initiatives that carry the potential of advancing Maricopa County’s Strategic Goals and provide a clear public benefit for Maricopa County residents. The Associated Maricopa County Strategic Goal is: Safe Communities. Also, pursuant to A.R.S. 42-17106(B), authorize the following appropriation adjustments to the FY 2023 budget: 1. Decrease the expenditure authority in the Non Departmental (D470) General Fund (100) Non Recurring (NRNP) budget in the line “Community Solutions Funding” (4711) by $2,400. 2. Increase the expenditure authority in the Non Departmental (D470) General Fund (100) Non Recurring (NRNP) budget in the line “D3 – Community Solutions Funding” (4763) by $2,400. These actions will have a net zero impact on the County-wide budget and do not alter the budget constraining the expenditure of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. 42-17105.
