91. SETTING OF HEARING FOR THE PROPOSED PALOMINO ACRES IRRIGATION WATER DELIVERY DISTRICT IMPACT STATEMENT (Supervisorial District: 1) 1. Pursuant to A.R.S. § 48-261 and § 48-263, set a hearing date to receive the impact statement for the proposed Palomino Acres Irrigation Water Delivery District. The hearing date is set for Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at 9:30 a.m., 205 W. Jefferson, Phoenix, AZ 85003. 2. Pursuant to A.R.S. § 48-261(C), approve a bond in the amount of $250 to be filed with the Board by the persons proposing the district to cover cost incurred by the County. The Clerk of the Board of Supervisors shall post a notice of the hearing in at least three conspicuous public places in the area of the proposed district and shall publish a notice twice in a daily newspaper at least ten days before the hearing. A notice of hearing will be sent to each property owner within the proposed district boundaries. At the hearing on June 24, 2026, the Board will hear those who appear for and against the proposed district and shall determine whether the district will promote public health, comfort, convenience, necessity, or welfare. If the Board of Supervisors determines that the public health, comfort, convenience, necessity, or welfare will be promoted, it shall approve the impact statement and authorize the persons proposing the district to circulate petitions within the following proposed boundaries of the district: Lots 1 through 6, and Lots 9 through 32, of PALOMINO ACRES, a Subdivision of the South Half of the Southeast Quarter of Section 30, Township 1 South, Range 6 East, of the Gila and Salt River Base and Meridian according to the Plat of Record in the Office of the County Recorder of Maricopa County, Arizona, Recorded in Book 95 of Maps, Page 38.
