49. ONE-TIME ADDITION TO FLEET FOR SECURITY SERVICES Approve a one-time addition to the fleet for an out of service vehicle that has recently been replaced (#311346 – 2013 Ford Expedition), to assist with Security Services patrols. This vehicle is currently assigned to Emergency Management, but the department would like to assign the asset to Security Services. With increased patrols and staffing at Security Services, the unit will benefit from the additional vehicle to conduct their work. This vehicle will be primarily used to conduct regular patrol monitoring of County areas and buildings. The estimated annual operating expense for the vehicle would be approximately $5,000. At the end of the vehicle’s useful life, it will be retired with no funding from the General or Detention Funds for replacement. (C-15-25-004-X-00)
