50. FLEET ADDITION AND EXEMPTION FROM MARKINGS Approve addition of one full-size SUV to the County fleet for the Emergency Management Department, specifically the Security Services Division. The vehicle will be sourced from an existing unit that was previously replaced but, based on Equipment Services’ recommendation, is suitable to be returned to service. Also, approve exemption from markings per A.R.S. § 38-538-03 for vehicle #312460. Justification: Due to an increase in patrol activities, Security Services requires an additional vehicle to maintain adequate coverage across County facilities and properties. This vehicle will be primarily used to conduct regular patrols around County buildings and grounds, providing safety and security for County personnel and visitors. Financial Impact: • Estimated annual operating cost: $8,500 • At the end of its useful life, the vehicle will be replaced using General Fund dollars allocated for vehicle replacement.
