33. AGREEMENT WITH PHOENIX CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL FOR SERVICES FOR MINOR VICTIMS Approve the agreement with Phoenix Children's Hospital on behalf of the Maricopa County Attorney to aid in the investigation and possible prosecution of c hild physical abuse, child sexual assault, and sexual abuse matters involving minors. The term of the agreement becomes effective upon approval of the Board of Supervisors and shall continue for three years thereafter unless otherwise extended. Phoenix Chi ldren’s Hospital maintains and is willing to provide professional healthcare providers, staff, personnel, knowledge, and expertise in the medical evaluation and examination in cases of child sexual abuse and sexual abuse and in records review in cases of s uspected child physical abuse. Authorize the Chairman to sign any and all documents related to this action. The Maricopa County Attorney’s Office (MCAO) will reimburse Phoenix Children’s Hospital at rates outlined in “Attachment B: Compensation and Reimbursement” for services under this agreement. These services are vital to the investigation and prosecution of child physical abuse, child sexual assault, and sexual abuse matters involving minors. (C-19-24-017-X-00)

13. AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT WITH PHOENIX CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL FOR SERVICES FOR MINOR CHILDREN Approve the first amendment to the agreement with Phoenix Children's Hospital on behalf of the Maricopa County Attorney to amend ATTACHMENT B - COMPENSATION AND REIMBURSEMENT. The terms of this agreement will become effective upon the Board of Supervisors' approval. Authorize the Chairman to sign all documents related to this action. The Board of Supervisors approved the original agreement on August 23, 2023, under Agenda C-19-24-017-X-00. All other terms will remain in effect unless otherwise extended or amended.
