16. AGREEMENT WITH CHILDHELP Approve an agreement with ChildHelp, Inc. to aid in the investigation and prosecution of child physical abuse, sexual assault, and sexual abuse involving minors. The term of the agreement begins once the agreement is fully executed and terminates June 30, 2026, unless otherwise extended, or amended. ChildHelp will provide staff with knowledge and expertise to gather and collect evidence, conduct forensic interviews, and otherwise assist in the furtherance of the investigation and prosecution of sexual assaults or sexual abuse matters involving minors, and assist the Maricopa County Attorney's Office in such matters; with the understanding that their evaluation may include consultation and courtroom testimony as it pertains to such cases. Authorize the Chairman to sign any and all documents related to this action. These services are vital to the investigation, apprehension, and prosecution of child physical abuse, sexual assault, and sexual abuse involving minor offenders. (C-19-24-145-X-00)

24. AMENDMENT AGREEMENT WITH CHILDHELP Approve the first amendment to the agreement with CHILDHELP on behalf of the Maricopa County Attorney to amend ATTACHMENT B - COMPENSATION AND REIMBURSEMENT, Section 3.1. The terms of this agreement will become effective upon the Board of Supervisors' approval. Authorize the Chairman to sign all documents related to this action. The Board of Supervisors approved the original agreement on June 26, 2024, under Agenda C-19-24-145-X-00. All other terms will remain in effect unless otherwise extended or amended.
