53. AMENDMENT TO THE IGA WITH THE TOWN OF WICKENBURG FOR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT ACTIVITIES Approve Amendment No. 2 to an Intergovernmental Agreement (“Agreement”) between the Town of Wickenburg (“Subrecipient”) and Maricopa County the (“County”) administered by its Human Services Department. The County and the Subrecipient collectively are referred to as the “Parties.” The purpose of the Agreement is for the County to provide the Subrecipient with funding to replace 1,400 linear feet of water main, along with three fire hydrants and 30 existing service connections. The County provided the Subrecipient with $534,721 in U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program Year/Fiscal Year 2021/2022 (PY/FY 21/22) funds under Assistance Listing Number (ALN) 14.218 funds. The Purpose of this Amendment is to address the following: A. Extend the Agreement Termination Date from September 1, 2022 through April 1, 2023. B. Revise Section 3 (Work Statement) Paragraph 3.0 (Implementation Schedule) to address the Implementation Schedule. The Agreement is amended to incorporate the changes contained in this Amendment No. 2. All other terms and conditions of the Agreement and previously approved Amendment shall remain unchanged and in full force and effect as executed by the Parties. This Amendment No. 2 shall be effective upon approval and signature by both Parties. This item does not have a financial impact. Supervisory District 4 (C-22-21-015-8-02)
