47. ASSET DISPOSITION OF WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT DIVISION WEST VALLEY CAREER CENTER FACILITY IMPROVEMENTS FOR YOUTH (Supervisorial District: All) Approve the Maricopa County Human Services Department to dispose of Youth Career Center facility improvements (hereinafter referred to as "facility improvements") made to the former Workforce Development Division West Valley Career Center, located at 1840 North 95th Ave, Suite 160, Phoenix, AZ 85037. Human Services Department Workforce Development Division provides services for Job seekers, youth and local employers. Facility Improvements were completed in 2015 utilizing funds provided to the County through an Intergovernmental Agreement (ADES 14-054318) (C-22-23-072-3-00) with Arizona Department of Economic Security (ADES) for Workforce Investment Act (WIA) Title 1B services to eligible Youth (ALN 17.259 YOUTH), Adults (ALN 17.258 ADULT), and Dislocated Workers (ALN 17.278 DISLOCATED WORKER) to administer Workforce Development youth program activities. The assets for disposition are no longer useable and require repairs that exceed the costs. Disposition of asset facility improvements includes renovation and removal of two walls, relocation of two doors, improving and adding electrical, glass, repainting and replacing flooring in the Youth Center facility. The disposition of the assets will result in a net decrease in the Human Services Department Asset Inventory list as referenced in Exhibit A Asset Disposition List. (C-22-26-034-X-00)
