IGA WITH THE TOWN OF QUEEN CREEK REGARDING THE PROVISION OF JUDICIAL SERVICES AND OPERATION OF THE JUSTICE COURT IN QUEEN CREEK Approve an Intergovernmental Agreement with the Town of Queen Creek for the use of real property by and between Maricopa County and the Town of Queen Creek. The term of the agreement is five (5) years from the effective date which is the last date of the execution by signatories. There are three (3) successive options to renew this Agreement for additional periods of two (2) years each on the same terms and conditions of this Agreement unless otherwise agreed to by the Parties in writing (each a “Renewal Option”). TERMINATION OF COURT SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH THE TOWN OF QUEEN CREEK (Supervisory District: 1) Due to increasing judicial productivity points, limited resources and lack of adequate reimbursement from the Town of Queen Creek for services provided, reject Town of Queen Creek’s letter extending the term of the Intergovernmental Agreement for court services approved under #C-24-22-004-X-00 / G-30231. Additionally, approve and execute early termination of Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) with the Town of Queen Creek under #C-24-22-004-X-00 / G-30231 for court services effective thirty days after the last certified mailing receipt or personal delivery to the town and its attorney. Early termination for convenience with thirty-day advanced notice is permitted under the IGA under section 10.3. The original term of the IGA expires 10/20/2026.
