34. AMENDMENT TO IGA WITH ARIZONA HEALTH CARE COST CONTAINMENT SYSTEM FOR PAYMENT SERVICE Approve Amendment No. 12 to an Intergovernmental Agreement between Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) and Maricopa County by and through the Department of Correctional Health Services (CHS) in the not-to-exceed amount of $240,000. The purpose of this amendment is to extend the IGA for one year. This amendment is effective from July 1st, 2020 through June 30th, 2021. All other terms and conditions of the Intergovernmental Agreement remain in full force and effect. This agreement is for third party claims payment services provided by AHCCCS to CHS. AHCCCS processes all outside provider claims incurred due to the incarcerated patient population needing medical services from a health care provider outside of the jail system. These patients are currently booked into the jail and under the care of CHS. Although, CHS provides many services on site, it does not provide inpatient acute hospitalization, certain specialty care services, or emergency and urgent care services. (C-26-08-011-0-12)

AMENDMENT TO IGA WITH ARIZONA HEALTH CARE COST CONTAINMENT SYSTEM FOR PAYMENT SERVICE Approve Amendment No. 15 to an Intergovernmental Agreement between Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) and Maricopa County by and through the Department of Correctional Health Services (CHS). The purpose of this amendment is to update SFY 2023 rates after the 2022-2023 (C-26-08-011-0-14) renewal was approved on May 4th 2022. AHCCCS used to address these two items in one amendment; however, for compliance purposes the agreement needed to be extended prior to the expiration date as the budget numbers wouldn't be available until well after July. The purpose of this amendment is to update AHCCCS’s Point of Contact on Section 2.1.8, their address on Section 12, revise rates for SFY2026, and extend the term for twelve (12) months, from June 30, 2026, to June 30, 2027.
