31. AGREEMENT WITH INTENSIVE TREATMENT SYSTEMS OF ARIZONA Approve an agreement between Intensive Treatment Systems of Arizona (ITS) and Maricopa County to address joint training needs. The purpose of this Agreement is to establish a program to increase access to Medication Assisted Treatment (“MAT”), Opioid Use Disorder (“OUD”) recovery sup port services, and opioid prevention awareness for incarcerated patients transitioning to the community. This Agreement shall begin upon approval by both parties and shall terminate one year thereafter unless otherwise terminated or amended as provided he rein. By mutual written amendment executed by the Parties’ authorized representatives, this Agreement may be extended for supplemental periods of twelve (12) months, up to maximum of forty-eight (48) months. 42. AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT WITH INTENSIVE TREATMENT SYSTEMS OF ARIZONA Approve Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement between Intensive Treatment Systems of Arizona (ITS) and Maricopa County to address joint training needs. The purpose of this Agreement is to establish a program to increase access to Medication Assisted Treatment (“MAT”), Opioid Use Disorder (“OUD”) recovery support services, and opioid prevention awareness for incarcerated patients transitioning to the community. ITS and CHS shall comply with all federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations applicable to each party’s performance under this Agreement. AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT WITH INTENSIVE TREATMENT SYSTEMS OF ARIZONA Approve Amendment No. 2 to the Agreement between Intensive Treatment Systems of Arizona (ITS) and Maricopa County by and through its Department of Correctional Health Services (CHS). This agreement aims to establish a program aimed at increasing access to Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT), Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) recovery support services, and raising awareness about opioid prevention for individuals transitioning from incarceration to the community. The purpose of this amendment is to renew for a two-year term of twenty-four (24) months. This non-financial amendment is effective from May 24th, 2025, to May 23rd, 2027. (C-26-23-021-X-02)
