28. DONATION FROM ALKERMES, INC. OTSUKA AMERICA PHARMACEUTICALS INC. AND JANSSEN PHARMACEUTICALS, INC FOR LONG ACTING INJECTABLES (LAIS) Approve Resolution for outpatient sample program and accept the donations from Alkermes, Inc., Otsuka America Pharmaceutical, Inc, and Janssen pharmaceuticals, Inc. for Long Acting Injectables (LAIs). These LAI's are donated at no cost to Maricopa County from these companies. Maricopa County Department of Correctional Health Services (MCDCHS) will utilize LAI medications to treat patients who may benefit from these types of pharmaceuticals. Donation funds are not local revenues for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitation and therefore expenditures of these revenues are not prohibited by the budget law. The approval of this action requested does not alter the budget constraining the expenditure of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. §42-17105. (C-26-24-005-X-00)
