39. TEMPORARY ELECTION STAFF INCENTIVES Approve the following incentives to help recruit and retain critical temporary election staff: • Election Poll Worker Premium Pay Rate: $2.00/hour. May be used during Countywide Elections (e.g., Presidential Preferences, Primary and General Elections). • Election Poll Worker Support Stipend: $75.00 for staff who support elections on election night by assisting with closing the sites, receiving election materials, and red and blue line support. Any hours worked beyond 5 hours would be paid at minimum wage. • Election Worker Retention Incentive: $1,250 one-time incentive that may be awarded to temporary Election Workers working at the Maricopa County Tabulation and Election Center who work at least 280 hours and a minimum of five weeks during the July Primary and/or November General elections.
