38. AMENDMENT TO IGA WITH DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS POLICE FOR PUBLIC SAFETY WIRELESS RADIO ACCESS Approve the First Amendment (Amendment) to the existing Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) between Maricopa County and United States Department of Veterans Affairs Police (VA) for access to the Maricopa County wireless radio system. The IGA was approved by Maricopa County Board of Supervisors on October 6, 2021 (C-41-22-017-X-00). The Amendment commences when the document is signed by both parties and will be in effect until the end of the term of the IGA, October 10, 2026. The Amendment adds twelve (12) handheld radios to the VA inventory, as part of the opening of a new medical center. The IGA dictates amendments to enable use of additional radios. Additionally, the subscriber license fee of $12.15 per radio was added to the Amendment, as it was not included in the IGA. (C-41-22-017-X-01)
