OFFER ON TAX DEEDED LAND PARCEL 500-06-489 (Supervisorial District: 5) Pursuant to A.R.S. § 42-18303(E), the following offer to purchase parcel 500-06-489 has been received and is subject to consideration and approval by the Board of Supervisors. No additional offers on the parcel will be accepted. Parcel Number – 500-06-489 Date Previously Offered – Nov 2021 Purchaser / Name for the Deed – the CITY of GOODYEAR Amount of Offer -- $2,500.00 The County may sell parcel 500-06-489 pursuant to A.R.S. § 42-18303(E), which authorizes the sale of state tax-deeded land to a county, city, town, or special district within the county for a public purpose related to transportation or flood control. An Assessor’s Office review is not required, as subsection F does not apply. If the Board of Supervisors accepts the offer on the real property parcel 500-06-489, the Treasurer’s Office will accept payment and prepare the quit claim deed to convey the property to the winning bidder and deliver to the Clerk of the Board for further processing. Pursuant to A.R.S. § 42-18303(C), the proceeds of the winning bid shall be paid to the County Treasurer. After deducting and distributing interest, penalties, fees, and costs charged against parcel 500-06-489, the Treasurer shall apportion the remaining proceeds pursuant to A.R.S. § 42-18303(C).
