67. IGA FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT SERVICES BETWEEN THE FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT OF MARICOPA COUNTY AND MARICOPA COUNTY ON BEHALF OF THE SHERIFF’S OFFICE Approve an Intergovernmental Agreement between Maricopa County Flood Control District and Maricopa County on behalf of the Sheriff’s Office for Law Enforcement Service effective October 1, 2024, through September 30, 2030, with up to six, one-year automatic renewals. This item supersedes the Intergovernmental Agreement between the Flood control District and Maricopa County on Behalf of the Sheriff's Office approved by the Board for the Sheriff's Office on October 22, 2014, in agenda C-50-15-030-0-00. Approval of this Agreement allows the Sheriff's Office to assign one specific full time sworn Sheriff's deputy to patrol Flood Control District land/property and enforce the law and statutory mandates. The Flood Control District will reimburse the Sheriff's Office 100% of the employment costs of the Flood Control Deputy position plus a proportionate amount for Deputy Supervision. The Flood Control District will fund all Sheriff's required standard equipment for its patrol deputies plus operational costs (either through reimbursement or direct pay). The FY 2025 cost under this agreement is anticipated to be $202,145.09. The Sheriff's Office will notify the District each year of the costs for the coming fiscal year. There will be a corresponding agenda item with the Flood Control District. (C-50-25-086-X-00)
