23. AMENDMENT TO IGA WITH THE TOWN OF CAREFREE FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT SERVICES Approve an amendment to the intergovernmental agreement (IGA) for Law Enforcement Services with the Town of Carefree and Maricopa County on behalf of the Sheriff's Office to accomplish the following: 1) increase the contract to 0.3 beats of service plus 1.0 deputy for full-year supplemental traffic enforcement in the not-to-exceed amount of $698,153.69 for the current fiscal year (FY 2025) and 2) add a section to the Service Provision that authorizes optional additional service personnel to respond to higher priorities when required. This increase will take effect October 1, 2024. (C-50-23-207-X-01)
