18. DONATION TO SHERIFF’S OFFICE – HORSE Accept the donation of a 5 year-old Bay Quarter Horse Gelding with an estimated value of $12,000 from MCSO Advisory Council to be used in the Sheriff’s Office Mounted Patrol Unit. This horse stands 16 hands tall and he is registered with the American Quarter Horse Association as "Denali." Denali has a calm temperament and disposition and will be a positive addition to the Sheriff's Mounted Patrol Unit, which operates out of the Lake Patrol Division. The anticipated annual cost to care for this horse is $3,750 to be funded within the Sheriff's (D500) General Fund (100) appropriation. (C-50-24-027-X-00)
